ABOUT ME

When I first began working with children and families more than 25 years ago, I thought my job was to help solve problems. Over time, I realized something much more important.

Behind every anxious child, overwhelmed parent, struggling teenager, or frustrated couple is someone trying their best with the tools they have. Most people aren't looking for someone to tell them what's wrong with them—they're looking for someone who will truly understand them.

That belief has shaped every step of my career. As a therapist, school counselor, and consultant, I've had the privilege of supporting children, teens, adults, families, and professionals through some of life's most challenging moments. Whether I was working in independent schools, teaching emotional regulation and communication skills, or sitting with someone in my therapy office, I found that lasting change rarely comes from having the perfect answer. It comes from feeling safe enough to explore the questions together.

My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and connection. I believe our emotions, behaviors, and relationships all make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped them. Therapy isn't about becoming someone different—it's about understanding yourself more deeply so you can respond to life's challenges with greater confidence, flexibility, and self-compassion.

I strive to create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin making meaningful changes at your own pace. Whether you're navigating anxiety, parenting challenges, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and build the life and relationships you want.

I consider it a privilege to do this work, and I'm grateful each time someone trusts me with their story.
